Media Infinity – The Brand of Daniel Cordell

I grew up on Mac’s in my dad’s consulting office. Around six years of age, I was using Canvas, an early graphics software to sketch vector artwork. Continuing to utilize my father’s consulting business, in high school, I obtained credits for my design portfolio in Adobe Illustrator.

As a young teen involved in sports, I designed t-shirts for tennis tournaments and sports leagues for the local Parks & Rec.

In 2001, I entered the professional world and worked for a non-profit radio and print resource. It had less than 20 employees and no multimedia department. I spearheaded all aspects of their multimedia needs including in-house book publishing, video editing, interactive CD-Roms, website and ecommerce maintenance.

Over the next eight years, my career refined into website design and management working as Web Content Administrator for a corporation with 18 radio stations in seven states, Web Content Producer for a hospital network with more than 70 medical office websites and Web Master for AAA, one of the most recognized brands worldwide.

My most recent accomplishment is designing and launching the premier blog for the AAA brand, nominated for best practice by AAA National.

I love staying on the cutting edge of an industry that is reshaping everything it can spin its web around – business models, social interaction, politics…you name it. I love being a part of it. I have several friends in the field, and one of my favorite pastimes is to meet with them at a local coffee house to discuss industry trends and personal projects. I especially like that the web encompasses all areas of multimedia communication. With a background in book design/layout, video production, audio production, magazine design and brand design, the web lets me do it all. That’s why I’ve named my brand Media Infinity.
